History of the Tails
1982 - 2017
Par Excellence’s formal uniform was a tuxedo with full tails from 1982-2017. The idea came from the elite male singing group at Yale University, the Whiffenpoofs, and the penguin-like appearance inspired our mascot.
Par Excellence Today!
In 2017, we concluded a huge renovation in the organization. Our Penguins made the decision to place a higher emphasis on recruitment and improving our recognition within the university. In addition, our website received a major overhaul. To signify these changes, we decided to change our uniforms to reflect a stronger, more streamlined organization. We hope that our clients and members notice and appreciate these changes!
